Cogeco TV Interview

Posted: September 21, 2011 in Video

Thank you to Cogeco television for putting together this incredible documentary-style interview, which has great footage of studio performances as well as explains the music career transition from performing in working pop/rock bands to performing mantra music, kirtan & bhakti daily.

Thank you kindly to Kula Burlington for providing a perfect backdrop for the interview & class footage! John talks about his music, bands, photography, kirtan, bhakti, Anandafest, Burlington’s Yogafest, and his transition from performing in a touring rock band to kirtan & mantra music, as well as his upcoming solo cd. This is a short behind the scenes preview clip of the interview portion. A full one hour special will include live musical performance footage at yoga studios, as well as his work as a photographer/artist, which is to air in late September.

Thank you Moksha Guelph for an exciting evening of Bhakti on Sunday August the 14th, 2011, with the full Ananda kirtan band! Ananda is: John William Bauld – guitar & lead vocals, Donna Poulidis – harmonium & lead vocals, Bobbyji – tabla & vocals, Lorri Medill – response vocals, Pat Sandford (TKC) – response vocals, Karolina Gill – response vocals & special guest Shan Jauhal – hand drums

Thank you so much everyone for all of the support on Friday at the kickoff fundraiser for the cd initiative – what a night!! L.J.Rock, Trish & Marinella rocked a truly inspiration class in collaboration with live music provided by John William Bauld & Bobbyji, to a capacity class at Kula Burlington. The class ended with an impromptu sing along to a track which will appear on the upcoming cd release! The night generated funding through both karma donations & album pre-sales, and we are off to an amazing start in support of creating a piece of artwork for the community, with a portion of proceeds going towards the Red Cross. I am so truly grateful to be a part of this amazing community! A clip has been posted from Friday evening – can’t wait until the next event! Love, Love, love…
